Chapter 3 Route & Ending Branch Matrix
Chapter 3 serves as the convergence point for every decision made in Chapters 1 and 2. Depending on which tool you took from Henry’s Saw Box (471) and whether you cleared the three hidden regional puzzles, your finale branches into four distinct routes:

Step-by-Step Chapter 3 Walkthrough
1. The Office & Optional Boss: The AI
Before triggering the point-of-no-return bathroom sequence, explore The Office district. Inside the server sector, you can challenge The AI, an optional puzzle-combat boss encounter. Defeating The AI unlocks the System Crash achievement; while optional for Ending A and Ending B, clearing The Office is essential if you are pursuing full achievement completion.
2. Route A: The Toy Hand Saw & Henry Uvula Boss Fight (Ending A)
If you selected the Toy Hand Saw from Henry’s workbench box (471) and delivered it to the Bathroom Toilet:
- Return to the house bathroom after finishing your regional objectives. Discovering that the plastic blade cannot cut anything, the Toilet entity becomes enraged.
- Exit into the upstairs corridor and pass through the previously barred “Do Not Enter” doorway.
- Proceed through the linear sequence of doors until Mellow reaches a dark cliff ledge beneath a circular opening in the ceiling.
- Use Tip as a stepping platform to boost Mellow up through the ceiling hole into the Giant Creature’s Mouth.
- Boss Fight vs. Henry: Henry confronts Mellow at the exit throat armed with a baseball bat. Direct attacks deal zero damage to Henry. Instead, position your mouse cursor over the hanging uvula at the back of the throat. When Henry winds up his heavy overhead bat swing, his aim tracks your cursor position; dodge Mellow to the side at the last moment so Henry’s bat slams directly into the uvula.
- Repeat the uvula bait across each phase until the mouth collapses. Mellow awakens inside a warm house where Tip asks you to invite the cast to an outdoor bonfire.
- Speak with every gathered character, then click the table lamp beside the fireplace and select “Turn Light Off” to complete Ending A (Family!).
3. Route B: The Real Hand Saw & Desert Walk (Ending B)
If you gave the steel Real Hand Saw to the Bathroom Toilet:
- Follow the same “Do Not Enter” hallway corridor to the cliff ledge and boost up via Tip into the Giant Mouth chamber.
- Because the toilet used the real blade, one giant tooth has been sawed out of the jaw. Walk straight through the tooth gap into the exterior Desert.
- Hold left across the sand dunes until you reach the first desert house. Head into the bathroom, pull back the shower curtain, and exhaust dialogue with the figure sitting inside the bathtub.
- Continue walking left to the second house, speak with the residents downstairs, then climb to the upstairs bedroom and tell the little sister a bedtime story to trigger Ending B (Family?).
4. Route C: The Surgeon Robot & Stay Route (Ending C)
Unlocking Ending C (Stay) on your save file requires three prior conditions: Ending A and Ending B recorded, the optional circus boss Trapezist defeated, and all three regional secret puzzles solved:
- Miserytown Secret: Use the Metal Detector inside the movie tent to uncover the hidden map and clear the mime basement mini-games.
- Timesville Secret: Sweep the beach with the Metal Detector for the Fishing Paper, catch every required fish species, and claim the dollhouse key near the waterfall.
- The Office Secret: Aim the Telescope from the train station platform to read the distant billboard telephone number, dial it on the office desk phone, and descend the hidden staircase behind the vending machine.
Once all prerequisites are active:
- Trigger the angry Bathroom Toilet, then walk into the Computer Room where Clockey now dangles from a breached wall cavity.
- Defeat Clockey and crawl through the wall breach along the sloped tunnel into a hidden office study.
- Inspect the open book on the desk to summon the Surgeon Robot. Ask any lore questions you wish, then select “Stop asking questions”.
- During the final epilogue sequence, walk back into Mellow’s bedroom instead of exiting through the front door to lock in Ending C (Stay).
5. Unlocking the Secret Yeti Ending
Once Endings A, B, and C are all registered on your save slot, boot Mellow’s bedroom computer to trigger a special broadcast from Andyland dressed in a Yeti costume. Accept his offer to play a song and hit the directional arrow prompts during the rhythm dance sequence to earn The Yeti achievement.
